The 5th edition of the Spinoff Conference 2025 will gather over 400 speakers, guests, and ecosystem leaders, alongside 40 breakthrough spinoff teams, creating one of Europe’s most vibrant arenas for deep-tech innovation. The event brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, clusters, and policymakers, forming a powerful engine for transforming scientific discoveries into scalable ventures.

As a central platform in the European innovation landscape, the conference drives progress across health and biotechnology, clean technology, artificial intelligence, microelectronics, and cybersecurity, supporting cross-sector collaboration and accelerating the adoption of next-generation technologies.

With a bold vision for the future, the Spinoff Initiative is committed to enabling the creation and growth of 500+ new spinoffs by 2030, strengthening Europe’s competitiveness and shaping the future of science-based entrepreneurship.

The Spinoff EUROPA 2026 conference addresses spinoff founders, researchers, investors, academia, policymakers, industry leaders, clusters, European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), public scientific and research infrastructures, and innovation ecosystem actors engaged in scaling deep-tech solutions across Europe.

Open Call: Spinoff of the Year 2026!

We invite innovative teams to apply for the Spinoff of the Year 2026 award and showcase their excellence at the Spinoff EUROPA Conference 2026.

Eligible projects must have successfully passed at least Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 2, with work already initiated on TRL 3 (Proof of Concept) in an experimental environment.

Proposed innovations must fall within one or more of the following priority areas: biotechnology, health, food technology, semiconductors and chips, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and virtual or augmented reality (VR/AR).

Projects will be evaluated based on the team's expertise and capacity, the solution's maturity and innovativeness, its competitive positioning, market relevance, business potential, and the completeness of the submitted documentation. Expected results must be clear, measurable, realistic, and logically linked to the planned activities.

Warm-Up Pre-Event | PRECISEU Precision Medicine School 2026

Dates: 5–9 June 2026 I Time: 14:00 – 18:00 (CET) I Format: Hybrid (On-site & Online)

Embedded in the PRECISEU European Innovation Valley, the Personalised Medicine School serves as a preparatory platform, equipping participants with the skills and insights needed to develop spinoffs and participate actively in Spinoff EUROPA 2026.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to:

Engage in exclusive, interactive sessions with experts from EMA, EPerMed, EATRIS, VELES, and European AI Factory initiatives
Work alongside innovators preparing real spinoff pitches for the Spinoff EUROPA Conference

InnoMedCatalyst – Accelerating 5P Digital Health Innovation
InnoMedCatalyst is an EU-funded initiative under the I3 Programme, uniting 13 partners from Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Greece, and Portugal. The project aims to enhance regional innovation capacity in 5P medicine—predictive, Preventive, Personalised, Participative, and precise — by supporting 36 startups and entrepreneurs through acceleration programs, mentorship, and open innovation platforms. By 2026, it seeks to develop over 20 investment-ready digital health projects, fostering collaboration between MedTech companies and healthcare providers across Europe.
