BIO-RED Cross-Regional Hackathon VENUE

BIO-RED Cross-Regional Hackathon takes place at The Venue Hall, on the ground floor of the Incubator building at Sofia Tech Park (111 Tsarigradsko shose Blvd., 1784 Sofia, Bulgaria).
Sofia Tech Park is located a short distance from central Sofia and is served by public transport (bus lines 306, 184, 84 and trolleybus lines 5 and 8, stop "Sofia Tech Park").
Registration and the catering/coffee-break area will be set up in the foyer in front of the hall.

Kiril Kirilov Operations Manager of the DISCOVERER and DISCOVERER+ supercomputer and the Bulgarian artificial intelligence factory BRAIN++, which support science, business, and the public sector through high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.

BRAIN++ is Bulgaria’s first AI Factory based at Sofia Tech Park, designed to make advanced artificial intelligence practical and accessible for organizations that want to build, test, and deploy real-world AI solutions. It will be powered by the next-generation Discoverer++ AI optimized supercomputer, purpose-built for demanding AI workloads, and will function as a one-stop hub where businesses, public institutions, universities, and startups can access high-performance computing, secure data and cloud-style environments, high-quality datasets, and expert support to develop trustworthy AI. With dedicated capacity for areas such as robotics and satellite/space applications and a strong focus on skills development, BRAIN++ aims to accelerate adoption across sectors (from manufacturing to public services) and strengthen Bulgaria’s role in Europe’s AI ecosystem.
